How one Planting to Grow subscriber transitioned from having a "before" landscape to an "after"!
You may recall an article in our March newsletter where we featured one of our Planting To Grow subscribers, whose flower bed needed a fresh pick-me-up. Well, he did it! Take a look at these before and after photos!
BEFORE
AFTER
What a great way to bring this front bed back to life. Good job! The dead plants along the front bed were removed. He then tilled up the area and added a soil conditioner to create healthy conditions for planting. Before he planted his Encore azalea he made sure to gently massage the root ball. Then the azalea was planting slightly above grade level. A pre-emergent weed preventer (Preen) was applied before the pine straw was added. To finish up, he watered in the shrubs and enjoyed a nice glass of sweet tea. I love it!
